As a result the Group strongly believes  that whenever possible they should put something back into their local community. Our passion for Bedford and the surrounding areas have resulted in us funding the following local groups, clubs and public bodies.

The Michael R Peters Sunday Football League

This is the oldest Sunday Football League in Britain and as a company we have been the Leagues main sponsor for over forty years.  We believe it provides young people in the area something to look forward too and participate in.

Door To Door Buses

We provide part of the funding which allows Bedford's Door to Door buses to take the older people of Bedford around the town free of charge to do their shopping, attend churches, clubs and generally get about much more easily than they normally would.

Primrose Hospital Cars

Cancer patients from Bedford Hospital have to attend Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for Chemtherapy and Radiotherapy.  When The Bedford Hospital Charity Trust decided to buy seven cars to make this journey easier for patients to travel to Cambridge, The Michael R Peters offered sponsorship to cover a major part of the costs to support this marvellous initiative.

Bedford Rugby Club

We are one of a number of companies who support our successful local Rugby Team and have done for a number of years.
